Sensire Ltd. (“Sensire”, “we”, “us”) as the data controller is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of individuals who visit Sensire’s websites, or register to use Sensire’s services or attend Sensire’s corporate events (“you”). This Privacy Policy (the “Policy“) applies to all websites that are owned, licensed or operated by Sensire.

2       Collection of Personal Data

When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the services, or requesting information on our resources, or registering for an event, purchasing or requesting an evaluation of the services, Sensire may require you to provide personal contact information, such as name, company name, country, phone number, and email address annual revenues, number of employees or industry, and any other information you submit to Sensire to or through the services.

Providing Personal Data to us is voluntary. If you do not provide Personal Data to us, you will not be able to benefit from some of the functionalities offered by our websites, such as communication, evaluation or service requests, enrolling in corporate events, downloading of documents or recruitment.


2.1     Information you provide us

This is information about you that you give us by filling in forms on our site sensire.com or sensire.io or tempnet.fi (“website” or “site”) or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. It includes information you provide when you register to use our site, subscribe to our service, search for a product, participate in discussion boards or other social media functions on our site, enter into promotion or survey and when you report a problem with our site or via support platform. Personal Data collected from third parties, for example from a tradeshow will share your information subject to the organizations respective privacy statements.

3.5      Recruitment

If you submit a resume or job application online, email or telephone, we will use your Personal Data for recruitment-related purposes, which may include contacting you via email, telephone or post. In some cases, you may be required to register on our website in order that you may track the progress of your application online. We will storage your application and other information for the period of one (1) year after the reveiving your application.

4      What Is The Legal Basis For The Processing?


4.1      Legitimate Interest

Our processing is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interest. Our legitimate interests allow us to process your data to provide services to the organization you represent. We may for example develop, monitor and analyze our services as well as send communication and marketing to you on the basis of our legitimate interest.

6       Transfer

We use service providers and servers located in various countries around the world. Your personal data may be transferred to and stored at a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). We ensure that a legal basis for such a transfer exists and that adequate protection for the personal data is provided as required by applicable law.

7       Storage of Personal Data

Sensire may retain your information for a period of time consistent with the original purpose of collection. For instance, we may retain your information during the time in which you have an account to use our websites or services and for a six-year-period afterward.

We also may retain your information during the period of time needed for Sensire to comply with our legal obligations, such as retaining any required data for the purposes of compliance with the legal obligation to keep books, to resolve disputes and to enforce our agreements.

We retain your usage data and other data collected with the help of cookies or other tracking technologies for one (1) year after the collection of such data.

8       Communications Preferences 


Sensire offers its visitors and customers, who provide contact information a means to choose how Sensire uses the information provided. You may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of Sensire’s marketing emails. 9.1      Right to Access Your Data

You are entitled to obtain confirmation on whether or not Sensire processes personal data about you. You may also have information on Sensire’s means of processing as well as a copy of the personal data undergoing processing. Sensire may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs if you request further copies.


9.2      Right to Rectify Your Data

You shall have the right to obtain from Sensire without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you. You may have your incomplete data completed if you provide us with additional information or statement.

 

9.3      Right to Erasure

In addition to your right to delete your personal data from your profile, if you no longer want Sensire to actively process your personal data in other means, you can have us delete your personal data if:

  3. we no longer need the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but you require that we store your data for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; or
  4. you have objected to processing and the verification whether our legitimate grounds override your rights and freedoms is pending.


9.5      Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you which you have provided to us (for example by creating the profile or submitting your email address for direct marketing purposes) in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You have the right to have the data transmitted to another controller if:

  1. the processing is based on consent or on a contract; and
  2. the processing is carried out by automated means.

Sensire shall no longer process your personal data unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms.

9.7      The right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority

In case you suspect a breach of data protection legislation in processing of your personal data and the matter is not solved amicably between you and us by negotiating, you may contact the competent supervisory authority to lodge a complaint.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.
