The holidays are over and we’re back. On that note, it’s the perfect time to take a look at what’s going on with Sensire right now and in the coming year. There’s a lot of exciting stuff, so let’s get started!
First things first: you may notice a distinct freshness about our website. That’s because we’ve updated much of our site to better reflect what we are offering our customers.
So, if you’re looking for a food safety or a logistics conditions monitoring and management solution for pharma logistics, for example, it’s easier than ever to check out what kind of help Sensire can offer you in those fields.
And not only are we making the site easier for you to navigate, this year we’ll be adding a lot of new stuff on there too.
For example, you’ll get to know some of our customers a little bit better, because they are the best people to show (and tell) what they think about our solutions. So, you can expect a case study or two to pop up every now and then throughout the year.
We’ll also keep on contributing to the discussions on social and traditional media, events and exhibition, and other such places where our expertise can be of help.
But there’s a lot going on behind the virtual store window, as well.
Food Safety Extended with Waste Monitoring
The first news of what’s in the works for this year is a new waste management and measuring system that links seamlessly with our food safety solution. With this we’re going to be helping our customers not only serve safer food, but do it in as sustainable a way as possible.
It’s also the perfect time for this for a few reasons:
- The EU states start collecting data on food waste in a coordinated fashion in 2020
- Food waste is a major source of greenhouse gas emissions
- Food waste costs money!
- Our customers needed something that would help them collect food waste data in an easier way
With this new waste management system, we’ve digitalized much of the waste measuring process. It helps collect food waste data throughout operations, from storing to cooking to serving, with options to sort waste according to waste location, food type, date and time etc.

Of course, we never create these solutions purely on our own. So, a big thank you goes out to all the customers and users who have helped us develop the waste management system and test it out in real-life conditions.
We’re lucky to have arguably the best customers, who help us very much with all the great and small development suggestions and new solution ideas they send us. It’s the best way to gauge the actual need in the field and be able to provide actual working solutions to real problems.
This year we’ll also keep working to be able to offer the best possible customer satisfaction. On that note, those of you who are already our customers can expect to receive the annual customer satisfaction survey quite soon.
