Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join us in creating business on top of Sensire’s international product line together with the Product Manager and Sensire's product teams.

The Business Developer is responsible for developing business together with Sensire and our partner Yokogawa EC. Your daily work includes managing Sensire’s go-to-market plan, prospecting and other business activities involving planning, execution and meeting set targets. You will report to the CEO.

To excel in this role the Business Development Manager should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
  • Planning, budgeting and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients
  • Developing goals for the development team and ensuring they are met
  • Developing goals for business growth and ensuring they are met
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Experience in sales, marketing or related field
  • International experience in sales and/or marketing is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills (and IT fluency)
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
